New things to come.... cricut , cricut

New and great things are in store for me and you! I am able to say tonight I am officially a proud owner of a cricut. My downline had bought one recently and told me to come over and use it whenever I wanted. You can bet I was planning on taking her up on it. I have been looking at them, as I have been exploring other ends to make my paper crafting go to its fullest.
The use of the cricut got put in full throttle with the announcement that Close To My Heart partnered up with cricut!
Are you a Facebook user? This is a moment where you may want to start. Announcements like this and others were posted through Close To My Heart's page on Facebook along with my facebook page.

If you don't have a cricut you may want to look at what they can do, however I would encourage you to shop around. Also remember some of the best deals on these great machines is during black friday.
While there was a ton of great new things talked about that will be happening with the new Idea Book, that comes out Aug.1st you will have to be in suspence a little longer.
I will be announcing all the great new things to come Aug. 1st here, and the evening of July 31st at my unveiling party! if you miss either of those you catch my newsletter on my Facebook page. (mentioned/linked above.)

It's been an intense few weeks, and my sale is still going on till the 31st on my products I posted from shutterfly a few days ago. Please go take a look, payment has to be arranged by the 30th, or the items will be displayed at the unveiling party.

Now this wouldn't be a fun papercrafting blog if I didn't put up  at least 1 picture.

Here is a card I made recently for a card swap. The focus for this card was embossing.

Holiday festivities

I hope you all had a wonderful 4th of July! I know mine was filled with activities and scrapping. While I did not scrap the events over the weekend yet, I was busy working on a layout that I plan to enter in to a contest in the next few days. I do need to take a better picture of it (an make sure there is no scraps on it!) but here it is.

I used both current and retired Close To My Heart products on this. Some of the current items include:

I do applogize for the slowing down of my posting. As soon as I get in to a routine I get a new class. I actually started my new class tues. the 5th, and the first week is always the busiest.
I have started to get in to my routine again, and have started working on my calendar to get everything fitted in nicely. So Soon you should see more posting more regularly from me.
Some things you can look forward to is info on my scrappin' supplies sale, making a banner, holiday layouts, how to beat Christmas cards, and then Aug. 1st the new idea book!

Price break down

Ever wonder if digital or traditional scrapbooking is cheaper? Or perhaps which can allow you to get everything you want out of scrapbooking?

While I have given you info on Studio J, I have sat here and wondered have I really given you enough information, or perhaps the right information on this topic.
I can honestly say I love both traditional and digital scrapbooking. I love working on the traditional with my friends, and seeing what I can do with the layout. However, for my busy life I a lot of times don't have the time to just sit down and create. It is during those times I have found digital scrapbooking to be a life saver to play catch up with my pictures.

In the following video the explain the money, and the picture break down for the average photographer, and how studio j can be cost effective for getting the most layouts done.

I would like to thank Amy for making this fabulous video explaining studio j.

If you find this video inspiring and than being a hobbyist with a discount is for you, there is no need to wait you can become a consultant here.
