Olivia paper kit

This month I am hosting 2 events that revolve around the Olivia paper, because of this I wanted to take some time to show you some fun things this paper can do. Also to explain each event.

The paper club- is a fun relaxing event that costs only $5. For that price you get enough paper to do a 2 page layout and a card, with paper left over, and accents for your layout! I give a layout guide with the kit, to help make your layout faster. simpler and easier. I will also have an example card with directions on how to make it. These are suggestions and guides for those who need them, for those with lots of creativity I can't wait to see what you come up with.

The Workshop- This is using the Olivia Workshop on the go, which is $30 plus shipping and tax. It comes with the lvl 2 olivia paper kit, designer brads, an exclusive stamp set, and the workshop on the go guide. This guide gives you directions on how to make 3 types of cards, and a 2 page layout, with examples of other 2 page layouts you could do with the kit. During the night of this event we focus on the example in the guide, while learning a technique used on it. It is also a great opportunity to see what all can be done with this kit. since as you will see below it is great fall paper, but there are lots of other events/occasions you can use this paper for. Some examples would be a watermelon festival, a fall wedding, parties with similar colors.

Labor Day Weekend

It would figure that I would start my blog up right before a holiday weekend! So since that is the case I thought I would give you 2 entries today. One of art, and one of the interesting weekend I had.
It definitely did not go as I planned, but sitting here at the end of my weekend I would say that I have enjoyed it.
This weekend started with a husband that was delayed on his trip. Which meant he found more stuff that he wanted/needed for his trip. Which though I agreed with the stuff he wanted, I was saddened at the unexpected purchases.

Then the day after he left the house had all kinds of chaos. A klumzy kid (Ethan) gave himself a small black eye running in to stuff. Aiden was sick for the night. The heating coil went out in the dishwasher. Then at 3 a.m. the fire alarms attached to the security system went off 4 times. All very simple but nerve racking things at times. So today I was not going to let silly little stuff ruin what was left of a good weekend. The boys got two options, we would take a trip to the zoo and get a slushie, or we would take a trip to the beach. They chose the beach, which included lunch on the beach and a surprise snack on the way home. They were totally stoked!
Normally I take a ton of pictures everywhere we go, so obviously I can scrapbook them later. I found myself more enjoying my time with the boys than taking pictures. In part because we go to the beach fairly often, and I already have a lot of pictures from the beach. The tide was out which was great, and even made it so Ethan got a little closer to the water. however, that was mainly due to him chasing seagulls. The seagull chase!

How was your Labor Day Weekend?

Turning a new leaf

Ok so I would like to start off with, Hi I'm Tabbi (group says , " Hi Tabbi") and I used to be a blogaholic. (clapping) Let me emphasize on USED TO. It has been hard since I got out of blogging to get back in to it. I think primarily because I have changed what I blog about now. It used to be personal use about my daily rants and raves to short stories. Now it has tried to be about like and rants n raves, but they don't seem the same. Not a bad thing. However, I warn you of this so you understand that I may not blog everyday, but I am going to be putting an effort at first to get back in to the swing of things I once enjoyed so much. In other words I haven't stopped blogging, and keep checking up on me!

As for me I mainly wanted to take this time to introduce myself. I am a Close To My Heart consultant, but much more than that I am a mother and wife. I am married to a wonderful man, of 4 years now, and I would be lost with out him a lot of the time. Justin is in the navy which I am very supportive of. With him I have two awesome boys, who happen to keep me very busy. Aiden is my oldest at 5 years old, and he has helped me look at the world in a completely different way. He constantly has me laughing and pondering things in different ways. He was diagnosed with Autism and Ad/Hd so you will probably see things about those on my blog from time to time. Then there is the baby of the family (excluding pets) Ethan. He is 1 1/2 being my almost Christmas baby. He is a ball of personality and adores his brother. He is very determined and knows exactly what he wants, which happens to be what everyone is doing or using.
Besides my family my hobbies and interests vary a lot, which I will let you see that as it pops out on to my blog. For now be expecting another entry soon with fun scrapbooking stuff, along with lots of stuff being added to the page in the next few days. As I doctor up the blog I will post about it. however for now its time to do some more scrapping.
